Messiah Lutheran Church welcomes all to worship through a variety of worship services. No matter which service you attend, we pray that worship at Messiah helps draw you closer to our Lord and each other.
- Saturday 5:30 PM – Casual Worship
- Sunday 8:30 AM – Traditional Lutheran Worship
- Sunday 11:00 AM – Contemporary Worship
We have an “open” table at all worship services. What does this mean? It means that all Christians are welcome to the table. As Lutherans, we believe that Christ is truly present in the bread and wine, and He promises grace in and through the meal.
Young children who have not received Holy Communion instruction, are welcome to receive a blessing. White grape juice and gluten-free bread are available by asking your server.
SATURDAY 5:30 P.M.
This service tends to be a casual experience with a smaller, more intimate group. Music is generally provided by the piano.
SUNDAY 8:30 A.M.
The 8:30 a.m. service is the more traditional service. The service utilizes the hymns that most will find familiar, and the settings are from the new Evangelical Lutheran Worship Book (ELW). The organ is the primary instrument used during this service.
SUNDAY, 11:00 A.M.
The 11:00 a.m. service is the contemporary worship, led by the praise band, Revelation. The music will generally be those tunes similar to the ones heard on the Christian music stations. A variety of instruments are used, ranging from the guitar to saxophone to drums. It is a higher energy service.
A Children’s Sermon is provided during these services. There are also children’s worship bags and bulletins located next to the Welcome Center. Any member of the Shepherding Team can direct you to these resources.
