Worship Services for Everyone

Worship Services

Messiah Lutheran Church welcomes all to worship through a variety of worship services. No matter which service you attend, we pray that worship at Messiah helps draw you closer to our Lord and each other.

Invitation to Communion

With love and spiritual care for God’s people, and by our Lord’s invitation we welcome all baptized Christians to commune at Messiah. We believe that Jesus is present in the bread and wine to give us forgiveness of sins, life and salvation. Young children who have not yet received Holy Communion instruction are welcome to the table for a blessing. White grape juice and gluten-free bread are available by asking your server.

Saturday 5:30 PM - Casual Worship

Piano is the primary instrument used during this service, and the service itself tends to be a casual experience with a smaller, more intimate group of people.

Sunday 8:30 AM - Traditional Lutheran Worship

Organ is the primary instrument used during this service, and the service uses familiar hymns and settings found in the new Evangelical Lutheran Worship Book (ELW).

Sunday 11:00 AM - Contemporary Worship

Music is provided by our Praise Band, "Revelation", in a contemporary liturgical setting.

Children and Worship

Worship

A Children's Sermon and Children's Time are provided during each service for ages 2 through kindergarten. Children are always welcome to stay with their families for the entire worship service.

We welcome the little voices of children in all of our worship services. Children’s worship bags and bulletins are located next to the Welcome Center. Any members of the Shepherding Team can direct you to those resources. Nursery Care is provided from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Sundays by CPR certified staff/volunteers.
