Music Ministries at Messiah
Messiah Lutheran Church has a very active music ministry. It involves people of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. It includes vocal, handbell, handchime, and instrumental groups. All of Messiah's groups meet on Wednesday evenings during the school year to practice with the exception of our praise band, Revelations, which practices on Thursday evenings. Besides the organized musical groups at Messiah, there are numerous people who provide music for our worship services through solos or ensemble work.
WEE ONES is our youngest group. This is a developmental program involving both parents and their small children, utilizing movement and music.
GOD'S KIDS is our vocal primary choir, ranging in age form 5 years old through 5th grade.
YOUNG DISCIPLES is a vocal choir for grades 6 through 12.
ALLELUIA SINGERS is our adult vocal choir.
CHERUB CHIMES is a handchime choir for grades 1 through 5.
GOOD VIBRATIONS is a middle school through high school handbell choir.
GENESIS and JOY RINGERS are our adult handbell choirs.
REVELATIONS is the praise band for our contemporary worship.
