Baptism Anniversary Recognition: Families celebrate birthdays; and, Messiah celebrates the baptismal anniversary for children, ages one to confirmation. Invitations are mailed to the families of children/youth whose baptisms fall within a particular time frame. This celebration is appreciated by all ages and is a reminder of the command to "let your light so shine", no matter what age.

Blood Pressure Screenings: Screenings are normally offered after the worship service of the first Saturday/Sunday of each month in the Cry Room just off Mission Hall near the main entrance/exit.

Card/Note Ministry: This ministry team is responsible for sending birthday, get well, and "thinking-of-you" messages. Help us by notifying the church office of hospitalizations, illnesses, and the homebound.

Prayer Shawl Ministry: Special prayers are said by those who crochet and knit shawls for persons who will receive the Prayer Shawls (those who are ill, hospitalized, homebound, and in nursing homes).

Baby Blanket Ministry: Special prayers are said by those who crochet and knit baby blankets that are given to the parents of newborns and/or at the baptism of a small child.

Flower Delivery Ministry: Each Sunday afternoon or following Monday, members of the Flower Delivery Team deliver arrangements made from the altar flowers. Volunteers deliver on a rotating basis. Let the office know if you know of a shut-in or someone who hasn't been able to attend services and would like to receive flowers.

Funeral Support Ministry: This Team coordinates meals for funeral receptions and memorial services.

Grief Support Ministry: Members and friends of Messiah aren't alone when experiencing loss. Support includes visits and quarterly mailings of supportive literature.

Healing Service Ministry: Healing was central to Jesus's ministry and is a sign of God's Kingdom.  It brings renewal and wholeness to those who turn to God for help. These Healing Services are held during a regular church service. All parishioners are invited to the altar for a laying on of hands and a short prayer of healing.

New and Expectant Parent Ministry: This ministry is offered to newly adoptive parents, those expecting a child, and those with children through the age of two. It offers prayers, card showers, blessings, personal visits, and meal support for the families, as well as opportunities to connect with others in the same exciting stage of life.

Spirit Article: A Congregational Care Committee article is submitted each month for publication in the church newsletter, addressing important wellness concerns.
